STAINLESS PIPE
Stainless pipe
Stainless pipe is a hollow profile with a high content of chromium and nickel. Stainless steel tubes are used in corrosive environments with high humidity levels. Chromium forms on the pipe surface protective layer, which is almost impossible to damage, which is an advantage compared to pipes made of simple steel. That is why stainless steel pipes used in transporting corrosive liquids in the food industry, where the sterility of transported fluid is extremely important.
Stainless profiled tube is square, rectangular or oval cross section. It is used in the production of promotional, decorative, service or other metal. Quite often the pipe profile applied to architecture and interior design space. This material is characterized by durability, convenience and presentable appearance.
Stainless steel tubes are easy to weld. Pipes can be made from both domestic and imported brands of steel: Mark 08x18N10 corresponds to AISI 304. This is the most widely used in industry and construction grade steel. Marc 08Kx18N10T (12Kx18N10T) corresponds to the grade AISI 321. This steel differs from the previous additional titanium content, which increases resistance to harmful pipe wet and corrosive environments.
For pipes operating at high temperature is applied brand 10x17N13M2T or 316 Ti according to American standard AISI. To reduce the cost of the final product is often used steel grade 12x17T or 430 AISI. This brand does not contain expensive nickel and does not require argon welding, and its properties almost equal to nickel-containing grades.
